課程概述 |
The students would have a solid knowledge of the more and more important statistical programming language R and how to apply this tool to do data analysis for management decision-making. The students will do a few real-world projects on data collection and data analysis as the course unfolds. |

課程目標 |
TOPICS:
Getting Started with R; Data Collection, Data Cleansing and Data Analysis; Statistical Modelling; Data Visualization Using R; Testing Model Assumptions, Correlation, Regression (if time allows).
Web Scraping Using R; Interface of R with Databases; Data Communication between R and IoT Platforms.

GRADING: Mid-Term Exam: 30%. Final Exam: 30%. Homework (including Video Production) and Class Participation: 40%.
